Our opportunity:

Automation Anywhere, the global leader in Agentic Process Automation (APA), is seeking a strategic and relationship-driven Customer Advocacy Manager to elevate how we showcase customer success. In this high-impact role, you’ll develop and scale programs that turn our most passionate customers into influential advocates—amplifying their stories across channels to build brand trust, accelerate sales, shape product innovation, and foster a thriving customer community. Who you’ll report to:

This role will report to our Sr. Director, Customer Advocacy

Location: 

Remote role - ability to work within any U.S time zone

You will make an impact by being responsible for:

Strategy & Program Development

  • Design and execute a scalable customer advocacy strategy aligned with key business and marketing objectives
  • Manage and continuously optimize programs such as references, case studies, testimonials, online reviews, and advisory boards using data and feedback

Advocate Identification & Nurturing

  • Partner cross-functionally to identify high-potential advocates based on product success, engagement, and relationships
  • Build authentic connections and maintain engagement through tailored communication and recognition strategies

Content & Asset Creation

  • Oversee creation of compelling customer assets—case studies, testimonials, quotes, videos, and event slides
  • Collaborate with Content Marketing to embed customer stories into campaigns and ensure content quality and approval

Program Management & Execution

  • Lead execution of the reference program, online review initiatives, and speaker recruitment for events and webinars
  • Utilize advocacy platforms to manage customer participation, track requests, and measure program impact

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work with Marketing, Sales, Product, and PR teams to integrate advocacy content across campaigns, launches, and media
  • Create feedback loops to share customer insights with Product and Customer Success teams

Measurement & Reporting

  • Define and track KPIs to measure program success across sales impact, brand reach, and customer engagement
  • Analyze and report results regularly to stakeholders, demonstrating business value and areas for growth

You will be a great fit if you have: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field; MBA or equivalent is a plus
  • 5+ years of B2B marketing experience, including 3+ years in customer advocacy or customer marketing within the SaaS/Tech space, ideally at a high-growth enterprise company
  • Proven success in building and scaling customer advocacy programs, including references, case studies, reviews, advisory boards, and online communities
  • Strong cross-functional collaborator with experience working closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams
  • Familiarity with the enterprise automation market (RPA, Agentic AI) and hands-on experience with CRM and advocacy platforms such as Salesforce, Influitive, SlapFive, or UserEvidence
  • Bonus: Experience producing video testimonials or managing video content creation

You excel in these key competencies: 

  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills with a proven ability to connect with and motivate customers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling customer stories
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Analytical mindset with experience tracking program performance, reporting on KPIs, and demonstrating ROI
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach and ability to operate with minimal supervision

The base salary range for this position is $140,000 – $155,000 a year. The base salary ultimately offered is determined through a review of education, industry experience, training, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant in alignment with market data and other factors. This position is also eligible for a discretionary bonus, equity and a full range of medical and other benefits.
