Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role based in Century City, Cape Town. As a Customer Account Manager, you will nurture and maintain positive relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction with CGM products and services. You will solve problems, provide training, upsell additional products, and maintain our company's reputation for high-quality service and responsiveness.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Maintain updated knowledge of all company products and services to provide adequate education to Customers.

  • Provide information and instructions about relevant products and services by being a trusted advisor to apply practice management enhancements or improvements using CGM products.

  • Meet upsell targets by making product and service suggestions to meet the customer's specific needs.

  • Promptly answer customer questions and provide information to resolve any issues.

  • Understand Sales process and cycles.

  • Obtain and document customer feedback and information and share that with relevant departments and team members.

  • Generate interest in new products or services and connect customers with salespeople when required.

  • Foster, develop and maintain relationships with customers to improve our retention rate.

  • Attend all required customer service-related meetings.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a customer service–related role within the tech industry, with exposure to solution selling and B2B environments.

  • Demonstrated track record in account management, client retention, and upselling.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to foster and maintain relationships with Doctors, Practice Managers, etc.

  • Organizational skills with the ability to manage numerous projects and priorities at once.

  • Positive and service-orientated attitude.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and sometimes high-pressure environment.

  • Basic computer literacy (e.g., CRM systems, MS Office) and excellent telephone etiquette

  • Willingness to work independently and part of a team.

  • Own car and valid driver’s license.
