We’re open to applications from both Europe and the United States.

We are seeking a detail-oriented, process-driven Renewal Manager to oversee a portfolio of lower-value renewals within Microblink’s Identity business. In this role, you will manage both internal and client-side renewal workflows, resolve contract disputes, support upsell opportunities, and drive improvements in renewal execution. You’ll collaborate closely with Customer Success, Legal, Finance, and external partners to ensure renewals are seamless, compliant, and timely.

This is a high-impact position that demands strong operational discipline, excellent communication skills, and the ability to navigate ambiguity—particularly when working with legacy accounts, evolving client procurement processes, and shifting security requirements.

A little bit about us

Microblink is an AI company with deep expertise in computer vision, transforming the way businesses verify identity and process documents. Our solutions power user-friendly digital experiences while delivering enterprise-grade accuracy, security, and compliance. We are building the future of identity—fast, secure, and trusted.

Here’s what you’ll do:

Client-Facing Renewal Management

  • Serve as the point of contact for customer-side renewal activities, including legal language updates, PO processing, vendor system/tool changes, billing profile updates, and internal procurement adjustments.
  • Navigate client-side changes in tender and procurement processes year-over-year, impacting both renewal and upsell activities.
  • Communicate Microblink’s compliance with new client security frameworks, complete detailed security questionnaires, and manage the response-review cycle.
  • Manage conflict resolution around pricing discrepancies, contract terms or legacy pricing terms.
  • Track and escalate renewal issues on core segmented accounts.

Internal Renewal Operations

  • Support renewal execution for customers that require written confirmation and manual processing.
  • Analyze usage data to drive renewal negotiations, including contract value adjustments due to +/- consumption
  • Identify upsell or risk opportunities; balance strategic account management with effort investment
  • Partner with operational teams on delinquent / non-compliant accounts
  • Maintain meticulous records of account status and ensure internal systems are accurate and up-to-date including customer health scores, segmentation, up to date billing/champion contact information

Contract Management

  • Work through complex transitions from legacy contracts to our latest terms and pricing model.
  • Align with customers on usage metrics to support accurate billing and renewals.
  • Drive efforts to transition relevant clients to self-serve renewal models, which require cross-functional collaboration and alignment across legal, operational, and customer teams.

You'll be successful in this role if you:

  • Bring 5+ years of experience in renewal management, customer success operations, or deal desk roles—ideally within SaaS or enterprise software
  • Have a proven track record of managing complex client relationships, navigating high-stakes negotiations, and working through contractual ambiguity
  • Understand procurement processes, licensing models, and subscription renewal workflows
  • Excel at managing a high volume of renewal motions concurrently with strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Are comfortable collaborating cross-functionally with Legal, Sales, Finance, and external partners
  • Have experience with Salesforce or similar CRM and contract management tools

Here’s what you’ll gain if you join us

  • Be part of a global B2B SaaS identity company where your work truly makes an impact. You'll join a high-performing, people-first culture that values growth, supports continuous learning, and celebrates success.
  • Enjoy flexible work arrangements—work remotely, in a hybrid setup, or from one of our offices, depending on what suits you best.
  • Take advantage of unlimited PTO to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
  • Access region-specific benefits tailored to your location.
  • Participate in our equity and bonus programs.
  • For U.S.-based roles, the base salary ranges from $100,000 to $115,000 USD, depending on your experience and seniority.
  • For candidates in Europe, salary details will be discussed during the interview process and tailored based on location, experience, and seniority level.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
