Program hours: Non-Exempt- on call rotation for 24 hours for 5-days shift shared with Program Director and other Community Support Facilitators.
Positions Supervised: House Managers (HM) and Community Living Instructor (CLI)
Reports to: Program Director
Description:
Under the supervision of the Program Director, the Community Support Facilitator assumes the responsibility for operations of organization and assure agreed upon delivery of support services.
Qualifications:
Education: B.A in psychology or related field (M.A Preferred) or 4 years' experience in the field of Developmental Disabilities.
Experience:
2 + years direct support experience with people with behavior challenges, medical involvement or psychiatric diagnosis, and forensic involvement
1+ year experience coordinating services for people wit developmental disabilities
1+ year experience in a Supervisory position preferred.
Physical Experience:
Duties Require 50% of work time be spent traveling from one place to another.
Must have the ability to effectively implement First aid/CPR/Pro-act procedures.
Must have the ability to work on multiple assignments at one time.
Must have the ability to push people using wheelchairs and assist people experiencing seizures and assist people with transferring to/from wheelchairs
must be capable of pushing, pulling, lifting up to 60lbs
Must be able to physically assist people who are experiencing aggressive or assaultive behavior
Minimum Requirements:
Must be 18 years or older
Must pass a Drug screening (prior to employment)
Must pass a TB test
Valid California drivers license including valid automobile insurance and valid registration
a clean DMV record
Must pass a DOJ clearance
Hourly pay is $23 - $25 (2 years experience)
