We’re seeking a CRM & Automation Specialist to join our Business Intelligence (BI) team - a role designed to connect our go-to-market (GTM) systems and ensure data flows seamlessly between Salesforce, HubSpot, and our internal data warehouse.

About the Role

As the CRM & Automation Specialist you’ll serve as the bridge between our GTM systems and our data warehouse, owning the configuration, automation, and integration of Salesforce and HubSpot.

You will partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and BI to maintain clean, reliable data across platforms - ensuring our teams have accurate insights to drive growth. This is a hands-on, hybrid role requiring both technical expertise (APIs, automation, integrations) and business understanding (lead lifecycle, pipeline, attribution).

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving system puzzles, optimizing workflows, and collaborating across technical and non-technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

CRM Administration

  • Serve as primary admin for Salesforce Sales Cloud and HubSpot Marketing Hub.

  • Manage users, roles, permissions, fields, validation rules, and workflow automations.

  • Translate business requirements into system configurations and process improvements.

  • Support day-to-day needs of Sales and Marketing users.

Integrations & Data Flow

  • Own integrations between Salesforce ↔ HubSpot, internal Portal ↔ CRMs, and other GTM systems.

  • Build and maintain custom integrations via APIs or middleware (e.g., Rivery, Python scripts, etc.).

  • Ensure accurate data mapping and synchronization across platforms.

  • Document system architecture, integrations, and field mappings.

Automation & Efficiency

  • Design and implement workflow automations to streamline sales and marketing operations.

  • Continuously evaluate and enhance CRM processes for scalability and efficiency.

  • Troubleshoot sync or automation issues between systems.

Reporting & Collaboration

  • Build reports and dashboards in Salesforce for Sales leadership.

  • Identify when reporting needs exceed native CRM capabilities and provide clear requirements to BI analysts for Power BI development.

  • Collaborate closely with BI engineers to align CRM data models with data warehouse structure.

Data Quality & Governance

  • Maintain data hygiene across HubSpot and Salesforce, ensuring consistency and reliability.

  • Develop data validation, deduplication, and error-handling processes.

  • Support standardized data definitions for leads, opportunities, and customers.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience administering Salesforce Sales Cloud (Admin-level or higher).

  • 4+ years of experience managing or integrating HubSpot Marketing Hub.

  • Hands-on experience with CRM integrations, data syncs, or API-based workflows.

  • Strong understanding of sales and marketing processes (lead lifecycle, funnel stages, opportunity management).

  • Ability to build automation in Salesforce (Flows) and HubSpot (Workflows).

  • Experience with data mapping and troubleshooting sync issues.

  • Excellent documentation and communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred

  • Experience with integration or automation tools such as Rivery, Workato, Tray.io, Zapier, etc.

  • Basic understanding of SQL and data warehouses (e.g., Postgres, Snowflake).

  • Familiarity with Power BI or other analytics/reporting platforms.

  • Salesforce Administrator or HubSpot certifications a plus.

  • Background in SaaS, cybersecurity, or GTM system migrations highly desirable.

What You’ll Gain
  • Opportunity to shape the foundation of our GTM systems as we migrate from HubSpot to Salesforce.

  • A unique position bridging Business Intelligence, Sales Operations, and Marketing.

  • Exposure to modern data architecture (Postgres, dbt, Power BI, Rivery) and cross-functional leadership.

  • A culture that values curiosity, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement.

Blackpoint Cyber welcomes and encourages applications from qualified individuals of all races,  colors, religions, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, marital  status, or any other legally protected status. We are committed to equality of opportunity in all  aspects of employment.  For eligible employees in the US, Blackpoint offers competitive Health, Vision, Dental, and Life Insurance plans, a robust 401k plan, Discretionary Time Off, and other minor perks.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
