As our Credit Representative you will help the Claim Resolution Department correct, collect and/or rebill patients' accounts so that they can return payments within 60 days from the date of the identified overpayment. Every day you will, collect on outstanding accounts to ensure claims have been reprocessed by payers in a timely manner. You will work with different departments and providers to resolve coding errors. Finally, you will need to create daily reports to improve payment results and ensure that corrected claims are processed by the payer within the appropriate timeframe. To thrive in this role you must, collaborate with team members to interpret and analyze audits, be independently motivated and a problem solver. 

 

Here’s what you will experience working as a Credit Representative II: 

  • Acting as a subject matter expert and resources to others by demonstrating an understanding of government regulations and requirements for overpaid patients account while demonstrating an understanding of charge related policies, procedures, and guidelines. 

  • May assist in account reviews for the Medicare Quarterly report for assigned regions. 

  • May participate in corporate audits, providing input for the development of audit objective, scopes, and procedures. 

  • Providing research, using bills and medical records, to validate charges. 

  • Other assigned duties. 

Required Skills: 

  • High School Diploma or GED required. 

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in Follow-up, billing, cash posting or related revenue cycle experience required. 

For this US-based position, the base pay range is $15.45 - $24.29 per hour . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
