About the Team:
The Accounting team at Relativity spans tax and compliance, financial operations, general ledger, and business data strategy. While each group brings unique insights, they are united by a shared goal of protecting the financial integrity of Relativity, while also enabling smarter, faster decisions to help the company scale. You’ll collaborate deeply with teams across the business, ask the right questions, and become a trusted partner, not just a processor. As Manager, Supplier Credit Strategy you will own Relativity’s approach to vendor credit strategy and payment term negotiations. Partnering with Supply Chain & Procurement, Accounts Payable, and Finance, you’ll lead efforts to negotiate favorable supplier credit limits and payment terms, ensuring Relativity presents itself as a strong, creditworthy partner to global vendors. This role is critical in supporting working capital strategy, building supplier confidence, and enabling our rapid growth trajectory.
About the Role:
- Develop & Own Supplier Credit Strategy: Responsible for creating an overall strategy and guidelines for vendor onboarding, credit negotiation, and supplier management - ensuring alignment with cash flow and working capital objectives.
- Negotiate with Vendors: Partner with Supply Chain & Procurement on negotiations with supplier finance and commercial teams to secure higher credit limits, extended terms, and stronger partnerships in our current growth and scale environment.
- Strengthen Supplier Relationships: Represent Relativity’s financial credibility and growth story externally, building trust with current and prospective vendors and working through any payment or invoicing issues proactively.
- Vendor Onboarding & Data Management: Oversee vendor onboarding and master data integrity, prioritizing critical suppliers and proactively managing term renewals.
- Optimize Procure-to-Pay: Partner with Procurement and Finance to align supplier terms with scalable purchasing processes and strategic sourcing decisions.
- Review Policies & Agreements: Refine vendor contracts, payment conditions, and credit insurance policies; identify opportunities for renegotiation, standardization, and improved alignment with company goals.
- Support Strategic Initiatives: Contribute to cross-functional projects such as vendor health analysis, working capital optimization, metric reporting, and procurement system improvements.
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in credit analysis, supplier financing, treasury, or related fields
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate and manage supplier credit terms and limits
- Experience with vendor onboarding, master data governance, and ERP systems (Infor LN, Jira, etc.)
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to connect supplier terms to cash flow and working capital strategy
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills — able to represent Relativity persuasively with vendors
Nice to haves but not required:
- Experience in the aerospace or manufacturing industry
- Knowledge of Accounts Receivable / billing processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, financial modeling)
- Experience working with third-party credit risk tools (e.g., Dun & Bradstreet, Experian)
