Job Summary

 GoodPower's Creator Collective is home to more than 7,000 youth content creators producing short-form video across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube — to our knowledge, the largest youth climate creator network in the world.The Creator Marketing Manager will devise and execute large-scale creator marketing campaigns through the Creator Collective, spanning both advocacy and persuasion/educational frameworks. This position is central to GoodPower's strategy of shifting marketing investment away from social media platforms and directly into the hands of our most important stakeholders — young people. The role will channel authentic youth voices to inspire action on the climate emergency across diverse audiences, with particular attention to communities of color.This is a full-time, fully remote position open to candidates based anywhere in the US. The Creator Marketing Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams through weekly video calls and org-wide staff meetings.
 

Key Responsibilities

 
  • Manage creators across all phases of content production, from briefing through publication and reporting, leveraging creator aggregator tools to operate at scale
  • Build and maintain meaningful relationships with high-reach creators, talent managers, and agencies to position GoodPower as a long-term creative partner
  • Conduct community building and outreach within our network of creators, offering resources and skill-share opportunities
  • Write briefs and script examples to match brand tone of GoodPower-owned entities
  • Partner with the ads team to boost and repurpose creator content for paid digital distribution, including negotiating content usage rights
  • Negotiate usage rights on Creator-produced content for ads
  • Manage our SMS opt-in pathways, keywords and tracking links/processes to measure the success of creator content
  • Work with internal and external research teams on RCTs around the Creator Collective program
  • Work closely with the campaign team to ensure that influencer campaigns are compliant with platform, federal, state and local policies.
  • Analyze creator work through internal Google Looker dashboards and other reporting tools to surface insights and inform strategy
  • Collaborate with and support Creator Marketing Manager, Innovations to incorporate and standardize experimental learnings on platforms such as Twitch and podcasting entities into Creator Collective campaigns
 

Qualifications

 The ideal candidate for this role will be excited to take on a challenge, self-motivated with oodles of initiative and persistence, and have the following experiences and skills sets: 
  • 2-3 years of experience managing creators or influencers end-to-end. From brief writing and recruitment through content review, publication, and performance reporting
  • Hands-on experience with at least one creator aggregator or influencer management platform (e.g., HypeAuditor, Upfluence, Creator IQ, GRIN, or equivalent)
  • Ability to analyze creator and campaign performance data (reach, engagement rate, conversion, and audience demographics) and translate findings into actionable recommendations
  • Detail-oriented by nature. Catches misconfigurations, copy inconsistencies, and tracking errors before they ship
  • Experience conducting or synthesizing comment analysis and sentiment analysis to evaluate audience response and content resonance
  • Experience coordinating with paid media or ads teams to boost and repurpose creator content, including negotiating usage rights
  • Familiarity with FTC disclosure requirements and platform-specific guidelines for sponsored content
  • Strong written communication skills. Capable of drafting clear, on-brand creative briefs and script examples independently
  • Exposure to Salesforce or a comparable CRM for managing creator pipelines, outreach tracking, and contact records
 Desired Qualifications 
  • Prior experience working in the nonprofit sector, climate advocacy, clean energy, or environmental justice or demonstrated self-directed knowledge of these spaces
  • Existing understanding of the clean energy transition landscape: key policy levers, major players, public narrative dynamics, and the communities most impacted
  • An established Rolodex of creator talent, talent managers, or agencies in the climate, sustainability, youth culture, or social impact space.
  • Existing relationships with youth-serving organizations, campus networks, or community groups.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce for creator/contact pipeline management beyond basic data entry
  • Background in advertising or paid media that informs how creator content can be structured for downstream ad use

Position Details

  • Annual salary range: $75,000 - 85,000, commensurate with experience
  • Generous benefits include: Medical, Dental, Vision, 403b retirement savings plan, Vacation, Sabbatical, Paid Parental Leave, 2 Floating Holidays, 2 Community Service Floating Holidays, sick time, two weeks of full-staff time off (July 4 week and Christmas-New Years week) and 13 observed holidays
