Responsibilities:

  • Creative Leadership: You will help establish and maintain the creative vision and strategy for our brand across various platforms. You will guide, mentor, and collaborate with engineers, designers, and other creatives to ensure that our creative outputs are aligned with our brand identity and strategic objectives.
  • Graphic Design and Creative Conception: Collaborate with product managers, stakeholders, and developers to understand project requirements and user needs. Use your graphic design skills to personally create engaging, visually stunning designs that align with brand guidelines and optimize user experiences. You will use tools such as Photoshop, Figma, Illustrator, InVision, Blender, and more.
  • Design Prototyping and Iteration: Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes using tools like Photoshop and Illustrator. Gather user feedback, conduct usability testing, and refine designs iteratively to meet user needs and project requirements. The end goal is easy touchscreen kiosk software.
  • Frontend Development Expert: Implement your design visions in a live environment using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create responsive and interactive web interfaces. We push the boundaries of what is possible with websites both visually and behind the scenes with our infrastructure.
  • Team Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project goals, constraints, and timelines. Effectively communicate design ideas, concepts, and rationale to stakeholders and team members.
  • Design System Governance: Establish and maintain a design system that ensures consistency and efficiency across projects. Define and enforce design standards, guidelines, and best practices to streamline the development process and ensure cohesive user experiences.
  • User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) Design: Collaborate with product managers, stakeholders, and developers to understand project requirements and user needs. Create intuitive, user-centered designs that align with brand guidelines and deliver exceptional user experiences.
  • Wireframing and Prototyping: Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to visually communicate design concepts and interactions. Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to iteratively refine designs.
  • Marketing Design and Maintenance: Responsible for designing, building, and maintaining responsive marketing websites using Webflow. Implement updates and changes as required, ensuring that all websites remain fresh, functional, and in line with our branding and marketing initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development and UI/UX design. Ideally experience with Interactive Kiosk Software.
  • Expert when it comes to designing and developing impressive websites that are incredibly easy to use.
  • Mastery of design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva and UI/UX design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or InVision.
  • Expert at implementing complex HTML, CSS, and Javascript from scratch.
  • Considerable experience using web frameworks such as Vue (Preferred), React, or Angular.
  • Strong attention to detail is crucial for ensuring a high level of quality in design deliverables, including visual elements, interaction flows, and responsive design considerations.
  • Bonus points if you are an expert in additional frontend technologies such as WebGL, WebAssembly, ThreeJS, Augmented Reality, and trends in AI.
