Creative Strategy Fall Intern

Reports to: Manager, Creative Strategy 

The Creative Strategy Intern at Big Loud Rock will support the Audience Engagement Team by assisting Creative Strategists in the day-to-day execution of artist social media and digital content operations.

This is a hands-on mentorship opportunity designed for individuals interested in learning the intersection of music, culture, audience engagement, and digital content strategy. Interns will gain exposure to content planning, social media operations, artist branding, creative workflows, fan engagement, and platform strategy while working alongside an experienced team in a fast-paced label environment.

Interns will not independently manage artist rosters, but instead will assist across the artists assigned to their supervising Creative Strategist.

What You’ll Do

Content Planning & Creative Support

  • Assist with building and maintaining social content calendars for assigned artists

  • Help organize pre-production materials including reference decks, shot lists, trend research, and scheduling notes

  • Participate in internal content planning meetings and creative discussions

  • Research platform trends, emerging formats, and social media best practices

Social Media & Audience Engagement

  • Support daily posting workflows across artist-related social accounts and fan-facing platforms

  • Assist with community management and fan engagement initiatives

  • Monitor social performance and help identify high-performing content trends

  • Help ensure posting schedules and deliverables remain organized and on track

Operational & Team Support

  • Maintain organized project documentation and shared team resources

  • Assist with administrative and coordination tasks tied to content production and scheduling

  • Collaborate closely with strategists, creatives, producers, and leadership across the Audience Engagement Team

  • Learn how artist campaigns are developed, executed, and optimized in real time

What We’re Looking For
  • Passion for music, digital culture, and social media

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Familiarity with platforms including TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube

  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset

  • Interest in creative strategy, audience development, and artist branding

  • Based in Los Angeles and available to work consistently in-office for the duration of the internship
