About Fay

Fay is a 3-sided AI platform redefining preventative care with a b2b2c business in a box. We’re one of the fastest growing companies in tech and the fastest growing company in wellness history. We combine clinical expertise with smart systems. The result? More affordable, effective care for the people who need it most.

Behind the platform is a Marvel team of builders deeply connected to the problem we’re solving. We pride ourselves on attracting superstar talent — the kind that’s driven the best growth-to-burn metrics since early Airbnb, Stripe, and WhatsApp. Those aren’t our words, though. That’s straight from our investors at General Catalyst, Forerunner, 1984, and Goldman Sachs.

If you're excited to build at the intersection of AI, healthcare, and real-world impact — we’d love to meet you.

About this Role

We are looking for a performance-loving Creative Strategist to join our team, serving as the creative lead for our advertising and broader marketing efforts. This individual will collaborate closely with internal teams, external partners, video editors, and graphic designers to ideate and bring creative ideas to life. You will run countless experiments, and develop a creative playbook to help scale our Meta, TikTok and other paid advertising channels.

The ideal candidate has experience developing innovative marketing concepts that drive incremental and scalable performance on key digital ad platforms. This individual is an imaginative thinker, with a desire to integrate creativity and strategy together to drive measurable results. A successful candidate will be on a mission to understand all things about consumer behavior and emerging trends, analyze that data and leverage it to bring a valuable perspective to the table. Beyond technical prowess, an ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, effortlessly articulating complex ideas proactively and consistently.

What you’ll be doing

  • Serve as the creative leader at the crossroads of performance marketing and creative strategy
  • Lead the conception process to devise innovative campaign concepts and strategies. Transform ideas into detailed creative briefs for our internal/external creative teams to articulate creative visions effectively for ad execution
  • Develop and own a comprehensive testing roadmap for new creative concepts, ensuring a continuous cycle of innovation
  • Collaborate with the performance and creative team to test, iterate, optimize, and scale winning campaign creatives and messaging
  • Provide clear direction for copy, wireframing landing pages, working with creator/UGC talent, and managing video editors
  • Monitor and analyze ad platform data, market insights, overall performance of creative content, and the competitor landscape to derive insights and guide the development of new briefs and angles for each product
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, social media platform updates, and best practices and identify core opportunities for future performance marketing campaigns
  • Play a quarterback role in project managing and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Work closely with brand, design, and media planning teams to ensure timely and seamless campaign execution.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience working in a creative strategy or performance marketing role
  • Strong idea generation and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Strong knowledge of the creative production process, briefing, and ad creation
  • Strong copywriter and can write effective, consumer-centric copy.
  • Strong analytical skills, with familiarity of performance metrics and performance funnels across platforms
  • Applicants should have a drive to understand ‘What makes a winning ad?’

The best companies are made of the best people. There’s no shortage of work ahead, but we stay balanced and look forward to celebrating our wins as a team.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
