Shadowlight Studios is a creative and production studio working with founders, creators, and brands to build content that scales.

Our work spans social, video, and creator-led storytelling across platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn. We’ve collaborated on content connected to Apple, Monster Energy, Logan Paul, Golden Goose, Fancy Sprinkles, Drink Poppy, and creators like Johnny Chang.

We’re hiring a Creative Strategist – Organic Content to help shape the strategy and messaging behind the content we produce.

This role focuses on developing full-funnel organic content ideas and writing clear, high-performing scripts for social platforms. You should understand how content performs across platforms and be able to turn ideas, conversations, and strategy into intentional content that drives attention, trust, and action.

You won’t be working in a vacuum. You’ll collaborate closely with strategists, editors, and project managers to ensure the messaging aligns with the creative vision, the platform, and the audience.

Requirements
  • Strong experience ideating and planning organic video content with clear strategic intent
  • Strong scriptwriting skills with the ability to write clear, high-performing video scripts tailored to platform behavior, audience retention, and funnel intent
  • Ability to define why a piece of content exists, who it’s for, and what outcome it’s meant to drive
  • Proven understanding of full-funnel organic content (awareness, trust, conversion)
  • Experience turning strategy, ideas, and conversations into clear, high-performing video scripts
  • Strong understanding of how content performs across platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn
  • Ability to collaborate closely with clients, strategists, editors, and project managers to bring ideas to life
  • Clear communicator who can explain creative decisions and iterate based on feedback

Benefits
  • Fully remote role — work from anywhere
  • Full-time role with consistent workload, clear expectations, and strategic ownership
  • Monthly compensation in the range of $1,500 to $3,000, based on experience and fit
  • Opportunity to lead ideation and strategy for organic content across multiple brands and creators
  • Direct collaboration with founders, creators, and senior leadership teams
  • High level of ownership over content direction, messaging, and creative decisions
  • Fast feedback loop with real-world publishing and performance insight
  • Exposure to a wide range of creator-led brands, platforms, and content ecosystems
  • Long-term growth opportunities within Shadowlight Studios as the studio and client roster scales

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
