Fat Earth, Red Antler's creative performance marketing partner, is looking for a Creative Producer - Lifecycle to own both the build and briefing sides of lifecycle marketing execution across our direct-to-consumer client portfolio.

In this hybrid role, you will lead creative production with a focus on Email/SMS campaigns, owning the briefing process and working hand-in-hand with account managers to translate strategy into clear direction for copy, design, and project management teams. You will also work directly in client ESPs to build, QA, and deploy emails, flows, and audiences with precision. This role requires the ability to move fluidly between creative collaboration and in-platform execution, and take both seriously.

Our ideal candidate is organized, communicates clearly, and brings genuine care to the details of every deliverable they ship. You know what good looks like in a brief and in a deployed email.

Job Responsibilities

Briefing and Creative Production

  • Lead creative production for assigned client accounts, translating lifecycle strategy into tight, actionable briefs for copy, design, and project management teams
  • Support dedicated account management with strategy creation and completion
  • Partner closely with dedicated account managers to understand client goals and ensure every brief accurately reflects strategic intent and brand voice
  • Collaborate day-to-day with Fat Earth's copy, design, and PM teams alongside current creative producers and specialists to move deliverables through production efficiently
  • Own internal creative reviews together with account managers, holding a high bar for quality before work reaches the client
  • Step in across accounts as needed to fill production gaps, support the broader lifecycle team, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks
  • Monitor ESP platform updates, lifecycle industry trends, and deliverability best practices, bringing relevant insights back to the team

Build and Deployment

  • Build emails, templates, flows, and audience segments directly within client ESPs, owning accuracy and consistency from start to finish
  • Own QA across all deliverables before deployment, testing emails, reviewing rendering, links, ALT text, logic, personalization, and list targeting with a fine-tooth comb
  • Schedule and deploy campaigns and automations on behalf of clients, treating every send as a precision exercise
  • Troubleshoot issues within ESPs as they arise, including list logic, flow behavior, template rendering, and send configuration
  • Maintain organized, well-documented account setups within each platform to support team visibility and continuity

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years of experience at a creative or marketing agency, with direct experience briefing work to creative teams
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience working in ESP platforms. Klaviyo experience strongly preferred; familiarity with HubSpot, Mailchimp, Iterable, Customer.io, or similar platforms a plus
  • Comfortable owning both the build and briefing sides of email production without losing quality on either end
  • Strong communicator with a collaborative, low-ego approach to working across internal teams and with external clients
  • High attention to detail and a consistent track record of shipping work accurately and on time
  • Experience managing multiple accounts or workstreams simultaneously within project

Compensation:

  • Total Cash Compensation: $60,000 - $68,000 per year
  • Healthcare
  • 401k
  • Unlimited PTO

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
