Profile Overview

Client is seeking an experienced writer who can transform creative insights, consumer research, and visual trend data into engaging, authoritative reports. This writer will work from expert-led presentations, transcripts, and recordings to craft content that reflects the voice and perspective of internal creative experts.

The ideal candidate understands how to communicate with senior marketing and creative audiences (e.g., CMOs, creative directors) and can balance storytelling with data-driven insights.

Scope
  • Initial engagement: 100 hours of content creation
  • Ongoing potential
Responsibilities
  • Transform presentation decks, transcripts, and recordings into polished reports
  • Capture and replicate expert tone of voice and perspective
  • Synthesize data, research insights, and creative commentary into cohesive narratives
  • Structure long-form reports (not formal annual reports, but insight-led storytelling pieces)
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and adapt to evolving report formats
  • Repurpose existing content into new formats where needed (e.g., blogs, white papers, eBooks)
Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience writing long-form, insight-driven content (reports, white papers, thought leadership)
  • Strong storytelling ability combined with analytical thinking
  • Experience writing for creative, marketing, or agency audiences
  • Ability to interpret and synthesize data, research, and expert opinions
  • Familiarity with industries such as finance, tech, CPG, and healthcare (from a marketing/creative lens)
  • Ability to match tone and voice based on transcripts and recorded material
  • Comfortable working with source materials like decks, transcripts, and recorded presentations
