At Netflix, our mission is to entertain the world. Together, we are writing the next episode - pushing the boundaries of storytelling, global fandom and making the unimaginable a reality. We are a dream team obsessed with the uncomfortable excitement of discovering what happens when you merge creativity, intuition and cutting-edge technology. Come be a part of what’s next.
It’s no secret that we want to entertain the world. In order to do that we first must hire and develop the best people, starting with university students.
If you have a passion for solving challenging problems and are excited at the prospect of having a significant impact on productions that over 260 million viewers tune into, then we want to talk to you.
The Content Operations & Innovation organization at Netflix supports content to thrill members with efficient operational workflows and execution while leveraging our scale and innovating to deliver more value on screen. Within this organization, we are looking to host an intern on the Creative Innovation team during Summer 2026. The Creative Innovation team identifies and incubates emerging technologies, like Generative Media tools (AI/ML-driven), to enhance creativity and elevate member engagement. Through partnerships and strategic business development, we enable global content teams to experiment and innovate at scale.
The Creative Innovation Intern will support exploratory partnership initiatives with a focus on evaluating and shaping how emerging technologies, specifically Generative Media tools, can meaningfully support Netflix’s storytelling and production workflows. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical curiosity and an interest in B2B partnerships in the media/entertainment and technology space. As an intern, you’ll help research and assess new tools and companies, pull together feedback and insights, and support light program and project management, while gaining exposure to the filmmaking‑adjacent tools and workflows our productions rely on.
You do not need prior experience in these technologies to apply, simply an entrepreneurial spirit and a curiosity for the space; once you submit your application, you’ll receive an email inviting you to complete your application by filling out an Airtable form. You’ll also be asked to submit a two-paragraph 300-word-maximum statement of intent (preferably in PDF format) within the form using the following prompt:
First paragraph: Prompt Question
Tell us about a Generative Media tool that you’re really excited about. What draws you to it, and how do you imagine it being used in content over the next few years?
Second Paragraph: Prompt Question
Imagine you are helping Netflix evaluate a new Generative Media tool. What are the top 3 things you would want to learn about the tool and the company behind it, and why would those be critical in deciding whether to pilot it at Netflix or not? Focus on the considerations that would matter most to Netflix as a studio and how they would shape a decision to move forward or not.
This posting will be open for a very limited time and will be closed for new applications by February 6th so if you’re interested, please submit your application as soon as possible.
Who are you?
