Job Description

The Creative Director is a visionary leader responsible for setting and executing the creative strategy across multiple brands and channels. This role demands a high level of strategic oversight, cross-functional collaboration, and mentorship to elevate brand storytelling and visual identity. The Creative Director will lead brand vertical creative teams, drive innovation, and ensure alignment with business objectives while maintaining brand consistency and excellence.

This position reports to the Sr. Director, Global Brand Marketing and is based out of our Irvine office.   

As the Creative Director, you will have an opportunity to:

  • Define and lead the overarching creative vision and strategy across multiple brands, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.

  • Collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional teams (marketing, product, sales) to deliver cohesive, high-impact brand storytelling.

  • Mentor and guide Art Directors and creative teams through concept development, campaign execution, and visual storytelling.

  • Champion innovation and creative excellence across all touchpoints, including “Gold Level” campaigns and seasonal initiatives.

  • Maintain deep expertise in brand systems, visual identity, and high-quality creative execution across channels.

  • Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and strategic planning for creative projects.

  • Foster a collaborative, accountable team culture that encourages curiosity and continuous improvement.

  • Stay ahead of industry trends through seasonal research and market insights.

  • Demonstrate strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and execute across multiple initiatives.

You have:

  • 7–10 years of creative leadership experience, preferably in action sports or lifestyle industries.

  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and Miro.

  • Strong time and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities across brands.

  • Extensive experience in photo and video direction, from concept to execution.

  • Ability to produce high-quality, visually compelling work efficiently and accurately.

  • Deep understanding of brand systems and visual identity execution

  • Familiarity with the action sports, moto, or cycling industries is a strong plus.

  • Passion for healthy, active lifestyles and awareness of consumer trends in those communities.

  • Relentless drive to create, iterate, and elevate creative output.

  • Solution-oriented mindset with adaptability and proactivity.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across teams and departments.

  • Confident in presenting ideas and leading creative discussions.

  • Willingness to travel occasionally for seasonal research and on-site creative direction.

Pay Range:

Annual Salary: $150,000.00 - $165,000.00

The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
