Job Description
About the role:
At ServiceNow, we believe in creating exceptional experiences that inspire, engage and connect people. As we continue our rapid growth as a company AND as a brand we're looking for a passionate and visionary Creative Director to join our Company Messaging & Content team. This leader will be the creative force behind how ServiceNow's corporate narrative, technology, and customer stories come to life in our Innovation Centers (EBC) - driving the content and creative that makes every executive experience memorable, meaningful, and on-brand.
What you get to do in this role:
Creative Vision & Strategy
  • Define and own the creative vision for ServiceNow's executive experience content - designing director-level storytelling frameworks that make our corporate narrative tangible, compelling, and differentiated for customers and prospects
  • Set the creative strategy for Innovation Center content, advising senior leadership and cross-functional partners on how to show up in high-stakes executive settings - from presenter guidance to visual storytelling best practices
  • Champion a consistent and elevated creative bar across all executive touch points, ensuring the Innovation Center experience reflects ServiceNow's brand leadership in the enterprise technology space

Scalable Systems & Global Execution
  • Develop and maintain a scalable creative system for Innovation Center content - including showcases, templates, and interactive experiences - that can be deployed consistently across global locations in AMS, EMEA, APAC, and Japan
  • Establish creative standards, toolkits, and governance frameworks that empower regional teams to independently deliver on-brand briefing experiences at scale, without sacrificing quality or strategic intent
  • Drive operational excellence across multiple simultaneous creative workstreams, balancing speed and rigor while maintaining the strategic integrity of each deliverable

Cross-Functional Leadership & Collaboration
  • Collaborate closely with messaging, strategy, and content leaders - including the Head of Company Messaging & Content - to translate corporate narrative, products, and solutions into customer-facing stories that resonate at the executive level
  • Partner across marketing, product, and experience design organizations to tailor Innovation Center experiences for specific industries, personas, and deal contexts
  • Serve as the primary creative bridge to the Brand team, ensuring every Innovation Center experience is on-brand, on-voice, and visually cohesive across all touchpoints
  • Manage and provide creative direction to agency partners and production vendors - holding them to a director-level standard of precision, quality, and strategic alignment
  • Represent creative thinking and innovation to senior executive stakeholders, selling creative concepts and inspiring confidence in the function across the organization

Qualifications
Our ideal candidate:
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in creative direction, corporate storytelling, presentation design, or immersive brand experiences - with significant leadership experience in the enterprise technology space
  • A demonstrated track record of operating at the director level - setting creative strategy, leading cross-functional teams, and influencing senior stakeholders across large, complex organizations
  • Deep expertise in presentation design and visual narrative, with a sophisticated command of how structure, hierarchy, and design drive executive-level comprehension and conviction
  • Proven ability to manage agency relationships and production partners, with strong skills in briefing, feedback, and quality control at scale

Leadership & Influence
  • Exceptional executive presence and communication skills - with the ability to present creative thinking with authority to C-suite and senior leadership audiences
  • Strong instinct for what makes a message land in a high-stakes, one-to-one executive setting - not just how things look, but how they make people feel and what action they inspire
  • Proven ability to work fluidly across messaging, brand, sales, and product marketing teams - translating complex strategy into clear, compelling, and beautiful creative
  • A genuine champion of brand consistency, with a track record of upholding and elevating visual identity and voice across every customer touchpoint at a global scale

Mindset & Adaptability
  • A curious, growth-oriented leader who absorbs complex product and market information quickly and translates it into clear, strategic creative that works for a C-suite audience
  • Comfortable operating at pace and scale - managing multiple high-visibility workstreams simultaneously without sacrificing quality or creative intent
  • Forward-thinking perspective on AI's role in creative workflows - including AI-powered design tools, content automation, and the future of executive engagement and immersive content experiences

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
