Job Purpose: The Creative Designer is a visual storyteller who helps define and evolve our brand through thoughtful, engaging design. Working cross-functionally with Sales and Product Marketing, this role turns ideas into visually compelling print and digital experiences that inform, inspire, and drive engagement across B2B and B2C audiences. We’re looking for a creative problem-solver—someone who thinks creatively, questions convention, and adapts quickly as priorities shift. A strong interest in design trends, cultural influences, and emerging technologies is key to continually pushing our visual identity forward. Essential Duties:
- Design high-quality creative assets across digital and print platforms, including sell sheets, posters, brochures, presentations, social media and email, infographics, video, and advertising
- Transform product-specific, text-heavy content into graphically engaging, concise visuals using infographics, charts, and diagrams
- Transform product and lifestyle photography into compelling visual narratives
- Partner with copywriters, product managers, project leaders, and other cross-functional teams to translate positioning, messaging, and concepts into clear, engaging visual storytelling
- Develop and refresh creative templates to ensure consistency, efficiency, and strong brand adherence
- Produce and edit short-form videos and motion graphics for product demos, internal updates, web, and consumer-facing communications
- Prepare and present creative concepts, mockups, and iterations for review, feedback, and approval
- Maintain brand standards while continuously pushing creative forward with fresh, modern designs
- Collaborate with cohorts by providing online proofs, meeting deadlines, and inspecting jobs for accuracy
- Stay curious and informed on emerging design trends, tools, and best practices — especially in digital and video
- Support asset management by uploading assets to, and assisting in maintaining materials, to Brandfolder
- Perform other related duties as assigned or required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong visual design skills with a sharp eye for layout, typography, color, and composition
- Ability to turn complex information into clean, user-friendly visuals
- Comfort working across multiple formats: digital, print, presentation, and video
- Experience editing short-form video or motion content for marketing use
- Familiarity with AI-powered design tools to accelerate creative exploration, ideation, and production (e.g., AI-assisted image creation, layout generation, or content variations)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate creative decisions
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects at once
- Perseverance and personal drive with an eye for details and strong critical thinking skills to help connect the dots
- Empathetic approach and desire to meet our customers and consumers where they are, understanding their positions, and produce effective deliverables
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- 3+ years of experience in an in-house creative team or agency environment
- Expertise in basic graphic design principles, contemporary design trends, corporate brand development, and the creative process
- A strong portfolio showcasing a range of digital, print, video, and marketing-focused design work
- Highly skilled and advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
- Proficiency in designing and developing assets within the Microsoft Office suite of products, such as PowerPoint and Word
- Strong editorial design skills with an impeccable eye for photography and composition
- Solid motion graphics and video editing capabilities
- Ability to travel up to 4 times a year for organization-wide or team-specific conferences and meetings
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field preferred
- Experience in the corrections, technology, or consumer eCommerce industry
- Working knowledge of design collaboration platforms such as Canva, Mirro and Figma
- Familiarity with monday.com or Brandfolder
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS basics and web-friendly design principles
- Experience in motion graphics/animation, illustration, and AI-assisted image editing/creation are a plus
Physical Requirements:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and a variety of office equipment.
- Occasionally, this position may need to reach, stoop, or kneel.
