Millennium Space Systems (MSS), a part of Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a CostPoint System Administrator to support and maintain our ERP environment, ensuring efficient and secure operations. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in administering Deltek CostPoint and associated modules, have strong coordination skills with both internal IT teams and external vendors, and bring experience from a complex manufacturing environment-preferably in aerospace or defense. This is an onsite role at our El Segundo, California.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Administer and support the Deltek Costpoint ERP system, including configuration, user management, and troubleshooting.
  • Act as a liaison between finance, IT, and Deltek support teams to resolve technical issues and deploy enhancements.
  • Lead or support ERP-related projects including system enhancements, module implementations, and data migrations.
  • Coordinate with internal IT departments and external vendors on upgrades, patches, data integrations, and infrastructure changes.
  • Maintain and optimize related systems, such as Time & Expense, Cognos, and business intelligence tools.
  • Develop and maintain detailed process documentation, system configurations, and user guides.
  • Collaborate with finance and operations teams to streamline business processes and improve ERP utilization.
  • Ensure ERP system controls and security settings align with compliance standards (e.g., SOX, DCAA, FAR).

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, information systems, or related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience administering Deltek Costpoint ERP in a production environment.
  • Proven experience coordinating with internal IT and external ERP vendors to support technical operations and projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and support Cognos reports or other Costpoint-compatible BI tools.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; capable of working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Experience working in a discrete manufacturing environment, preferably aerospace, defense, or another highly regulated industry.
  • Familiarity with government contracting requirements and compliance (e.g., DCAA, DFARS).
  • Working knowledge of Deltek Time & Expense, Cognos Analytics, and SQL-based data systems.
  • Experience supporting enterprise system integrations with tools like SharePoint, PLM, or MES systems.
