Job Description

Provide QS Term Consultancy service for Client:

  • Cost planning and estimation
  • Prepare tender
  • Tender evaluation
  • Variation order finalisation
  • Issue payment valuation
  • Closing of final accounts
  • Prepare and issue tender documents for each contract including:
  • Information as provided by designers including drawings and specifications
  • Requirements for operating & maintenance manuals
  • Requirements for testing, commissioning & training
  • Conditions of tender
  • Detailed scopes of work
  • Contract terms & preliminaries
  • Pricing documents schedules & tender breakdown forms
  • Program constraints
  • Site constraints
  • Requirements for insurance, warranties & bonds

Qualifications

  • Possess BCA PSPC-recognised degree in Building Quantity Surveying, or equivalent;
  • Having 3 years and above of practical experience as a Project Quantity Surveyor;
  • Registered Quantity Surveyor with the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) or Singapore Institute of Surveyors and Valuers (SISV) or equivalent;
  • Possess experience of at least 3 projects using Public Sector Standard Conditions of Contract (PSSCOC);
  • Familiar with Building Information Modeling (BIM) for costing purpose (i.e.Cost X, etc.);
  • Possess experience in on going/completed projects where Integrated Digital Delivery (IDD) is implemented
