The Product Owner for the Correspondence role will be responsible for developing and refining features in collaboration with business, IT, Cross DST ARTs, and stakeholders. The Product Owner (PO) is responsible for prioritizing the stories to be developed by the agile team so the team can incrementally develop valuable solutions that maintain conceptual and technical integrity. Individuals in this role are responsible for working in a team of agile teams that contribute to larger solutions. While they collaborate with their agile team members to define stories, the PO has the responsibility for prioritizing the Team Backlog to streamline execution.

The expected salary range for this position is $91,000 - $105,000.. This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.

How You'll Help Us Build a More Confident Future:
- Work with Product Managers to understand customer needs and business objectives that inform features and stories
- Ensure work focuses on those stories with a maximum value, aligned with product strategy, roadmap, and key milestones
- Help define, refine, prioritize, and accept the work delivered by an Agile team to ensure the outcome meets the defined feature acceptance criteria while the team works at a sustainable pace
- Answer questions from the agile team so the team's work flows without delay.
- Collaborate with POs on other teams to help the ART achieve its shared objectives.
- Make decisions to solve product related problems, trade-off discussions, to stay on track to committed outcomes. (Acceptance, prioritizing, making trade-offs, etc.
- Support Production Support for escalated customer issues, timely communication of outcomes to the customer.
- Managing Client Specific email boxes, responding to process/timing inquiries, customer questions, and escalation questions for internal partners within 24 hours
- Completing business check out of custom letters/CSV files/email updates after each release
- Setting up new customers in Catalyst Admin, updating existing changes to email notifications to allow instant changes as requested by the customer
- Managing defects and ambiguities identified before and after testing, ensuring alignment of ambiguities/defects for future releases, and continued communication on status of release with stakeholders
- Suppression of history and takeover notifications, ensuring customers are not notified of perfection of takeover claims
- Writing Change Requirement Documents as required and supporting CRD work during peak times to ensure delivery times
- Mockup the Change Request Document with new verbiage and identify coding needed to support the customer change
Required to Succeed:
- 7+ years of experience in Disability and Absence Insurance
- Advanced experience with Powerpoint and Excel.
- Exhibit strong collaboration and ability to engage with all levels of leadership across the organization.
- Ability to lead, motivate and support initiative team(s).
- Identify risks to project success and recommend course of action to prevent risk from negatively impacting agreed upon work and dates for delivery.
- Experience with an agile methodology.
- Associates or more advanced degree required.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of current MetLife business processes, systems and operational areas.
- Knowledge of MetLife business structure, products, and end to end processes and outputs.
- Exposure to SAFE Agilist
