Key Responsibilities
- Manage corporate tax engagements from planning through completion.
- Review corporate income tax returns (Form 1120) and ASC 740 tax provisions.
- Research federal, state, and international tax issues.
- Respond to IRS and state tax notices.
- Build and maintain client relationships.
- Mentor and supervise tax professionals.
- Identify opportunities to expand client services.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Active California CPA or JD with an active law license.
- 4+ years of corporate tax compliance and consulting experience.
- Minimum 1 year of Manager-level experience.
- Strong experience with ASC 740 (preparation, review, and audit support).
- Experience reviewing corporate tax returns (Form 1120).
- Recent public accounting experience with a Top 15 or large regional accounting firm.
- Experience supporting large multi-state, national, or multinational corporate clients.
- Willingness to work onsite at least 3 days per week.
- Experience with OneSource Tax Provision.
- Knowledge of SALT, international taxation, and transfer pricing.
- Strong leadership, communication, and client management skills.
