At City Storage Systems, we're building Infrastructure for Better Food to help restaurateurs around the world succeed in online food delivery, changing the game, whether they’re first-time entrepreneurs or established quick-service restaurant chains.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Global Transactions: Oversee and execute all M&A, strategic investments, debt and equity financings, and other complex corporate transactions across global markets.
  • Deal Structuring & Negotiation: Draft, review, and negotiate term sheets, purchase agreements, and related definitive and ancillary documents to ensure sound commercial and legal outcomes.
  • Strategic Legal Counsel: Serve as the lead in-house attorney on acquisitions, investments, and financing matters, advising business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders throughout each stage of the transaction lifecycle.
  • Finance Partnership: Collaborate closely with the Finance team on cash management activities, capital structure decisions, and corporate finance initiatives.
  • Investor Relations Support: Contribute to investor engagement and communications as part of the broader investor relations group.
  • Global Entity Management: Oversee corporate governance and subsidiary management across a couple of dozen countries, ensuring compliance and supporting treasury and capital markets activities.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and develop two corporate legal professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous growth.

What We’re Looking For
  • J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • 8+ years of experience focused on M&A and/or capital markets transactions, preferably with a strong mix of big law firm and in-house experience.
  • Experience with debt financings is preferred but not required.
  • Strong leadership and mentorship skills, with a proven track record of building high-performing teams.
  • Practical, business-oriented mindset with excellent judgment.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact and communicate with all levels of the organisation and outside counsel.
  • Proficient in drafting complex transactional agreements, together with the ability to distill complicated legal concepts into their core components and ideas.
  • Attention to detail and discretion in dealing with highly sensitive information.
