The Corporate FP&A Manager will be responsible for leading financial planning, analysis, and reporting for Red Bull North America. This includes providing strategic financial insights and supporting executive decision-making.
The role involves partnering with senior leaders in Finance who oversee Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Distribution to develop comprehensive financial strategies, forecasts, and analyses that drive financial performance and identify growth opportunities.
Key responsibilities also include managing various global forecasting and reporting requirements; collaborating with global Finance and Controlling counterparts on both the content and technical aspects of global planning initiatives; and ensuring adherence to all globally mandated deadlines. Global reporting requirements include, but are not limited to:
Three official planning cycles (one business plan and two revised estimates)
More than twelve latest estimates (profit and loss and cash flow outlooks)
Month-end close profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow commentaries.
Job DescriptionPLANNING THE PROFIT AND LOSS AND BALANCE SHEET STATEMENTS
Lead the development and execution of financial planning processes across U.S. beverage and marketing entities, including the annual business plan, revised plans, and informal year-to-go estimates.
Partner with and align the various Finance teams to ensure adherence to the financial planning process.
Design, collaborate on, and build tools to support the development of forecasts.
Analyze and challenge plan submissions to assess the accuracy and reasonableness of forecasts.
Own and develop the planning of balance sheet and cash flow statements.
REPORTING AND ANALYSIS OF FINANCIAL DATA
Drive financial performance analysis, identify key trends and risks, and provide strategic insights and recommendations to support business growth, profitability, and improved financial outcomes.
Prepare and distribute management reports that highlight specific risks, trends, and results against major KPIs to support informed decision‑making.
Create, distribute, and consolidate cross-functional reports to analyze departmental results against plan.
Collaborate with finance teams to understand the dynamics and trends affecting RBNA’s financial position.
Identify cost-saving measures to promote more efficient use of company resources.
Promote process efficiency to reduce time spent on report generation and increase time available for analysis, commentary, and sharing insights.
Use in-depth knowledge of RBNA’s financial structure and processes to perform ad hoc analyses.
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data, working closely with the accounting team and other departments.
PROJECT SUPPORT
Design and build new tools to use, plan, and analyze the company’s financial data.
Assist in the development of departmental tools and systems.
Develop strategies for using the company’s data to drive improved performance outcomes.
ADMINISTRATION OF ANALYSIS APPLICATIONS AND DOCUMENTATION
Maintain the master data for planning and reporting systems.
Understand and comply with both global and local reporting requirements.
Take ownership of the documentation repository for planning and analysis structures, systems, procedures, and best practices.
COMPLIANCE AND CONTROLS
Support local and global financial initiatives to improve cost control, while maintaining an appropriate balance of control, transparency, and efficiency across all functional departments.
Ensure compliance with the company’s controlling guidelines by developing resources, communicating with finance teams, and providing training.
Ensure master data quality and verify the consistency of the controlling structure.
Qualifications
5–8 years of professional experience in a Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) role; experience in the consumer-packaged goods industry is a plus.
Experience with a Big Four public accounting firm is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or another quantitative discipline required; MBA and/or CPA preferred.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Highly analytical with strong problem-solving skills, and adept at identifying trends and variances.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts and influence and engage senior executives and other stakeholders.
Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and Microsoft Excel; experience with integrated business analysis tools (such as Hyperion, Anaplan, SAP BI, or ERP systems) is a plus.
Able to manage multiple priorities, work proactively, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced team environment.
Additional InformationThis position is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or individuals who are currently authorized to work in the United States on a valid visa.
The base salary range for this position is $124,000 - 186,000 + cash incentives. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.
