We’re hiring a Corporate Counsel to support our Corporate HQ in Columbia, MO and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to grow with us, bring energy and drive to their work, and help us build the future of construction. The Corporate Counsel is responsible for negotiating and managing diverse commercial contracts (SaaS, vendor, customer, licensing, partnership). It includes advising internal teams on legal risks and compliance, ensuring document accuracy, and developing internal policies and contract management. The role also supports growth initiatives (marketing, M&A, financings) and handles special projects like corporate governance, compliance, and employment law. This position is fully remote.
Salary range: $145k-$172k. Factors including past experience and location may affect final compensation rate.
Primary Responsibilities- Negotiate and manage contracts: Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including SaaS, vendor, customer, licensing, and partnership agreements.
- Advise the business: Collaborate with internal teams—including Sales, Finance, Marketing, HR, and Operations—to provide practical guidance on legal risks, contract suitability, and compliance.
- Ensure quality and accuracy: Analyze contracts and legal documents to safeguard company interests and maintain high standards.
- Develop policies and processes: Support the creation and implementation of internal policies and contract management practices to improve efficiency.
- Support growth initiatives: Provide legal support for marketing campaigns, mergers & acquisitions, financings, and other strategic projects.
- Handle special projects: Tackle miscellaneous legal matters as needed, including corporate governance, compliance, and employment law support.

- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school with an active state bar membership.
- At least 4 years of relevant experience, ideally a mix of law firm and in-house practice.
- Ability to sit for long periods and work on a computer.
