Your Role:

As the Corporate Controller, you’ll be working with some of the industry’s brightest minds while directing accounting operational functions, managing the accumulation and consolidation of financial information for internal and external financial statements, assessing accounting and internal control systems, and guiding departmental staff.  You will be responsible for protecting Faraday Future's assets, forecasting and financial planning, and all required technical accounting and financial reporting.

Responsibilities: 

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders to identify their needs and aid in the execution of business solutions.
  • Manage all accounting functions and monitor related matters including all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements to ensure accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
  • Develop and implement internal controls to ensure compliance and safeguard the company's assets and information.
  • In conjunction with the finance team, enable appropriate monthly preparation of financial information against benchmarks, budgets, and reporting standards
  • Oversee all technical accounting and financial reporting resources to ensure appropriate application of US GAAP and preparation of SEC filings.
  • Manage the annual and quarterly procedures over all SEC filings, including the relationship with external auditor.
  • Manage the outsourced tax function.
  • Implement consistent accounting policies, practices, and procedures across all programs, upholding federal, state, and local legal standards by remaining knowledgeable about existing, new, and future legislation.
  • Oversee and support accounting team with dynamic leadership that creates an environment of trust and productivity.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of progressive accounting experience including as a Controller
  • BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field
  • Previous experience in public accounting with a Big 4 or tier 2 firm
  • Proficient with technology, SAP preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Active CPA designation is required
  • Manufacturing/consumer electronics industry experience is a must have.
  • Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting and cost control principles, and GAAP

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA
  • Automotive industry experience strongly preferred
  • A creative curiosity, collaborative ethic, hardworking enthusiasm, and driving personal vision
  • A penchant for multi-tasking and self-starting
  • A genuine fascination for the EV field and a commitment to global change

Annual Salary Range:

($200,000.00 – $250,000.00 DOE), plus benefits and incentive plans
