The Corporate Controller is responsible for managing the accounting function for Tripalink and its subsidiaries. This role is focused on building and maintaining technical and operational excellence, including audits, accounting policies, consolidations, and treasury management.
The ideal candidate has experience navigating complex accounting environments, driving audit readiness, and implementing scalable, GAAP-compliant processes across multiple entities. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-accountability settings.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strong leadership to the accounting organization to ensure the integrity of our financial statements, adherence to U.S. GAAP, and timely closing of the books.
- Establish scalable processes to make accounting operations more efficient and effective.
- Oversee all matters related to the month-end close, consolidating multiple entities’ books, and preparation of monthly financial statements.
- Partner closely with other members of the finance organization to deepen our understanding of the business, drive sound financial decision making, and help drive the business forward.
- Manage the annual financial audit process and serve as the main point of contact for our external auditor.
- Research and document Tripalink’s technical accounting matters; train the accounting team on application of policies and drive the implementation of any changes in policies or adoption of new accounting standards.
- Provide mentorship, training, support, and motivation to the accounting team.
Education and Experience:
- Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance or closely related business discipline; CPA required.
- 8+ years of hands-on corporate accounting experience, including public accounting experience and managing accounting teams at high-growth companies; Big 4 audit experience preferred.
- Expertise in U.S. GAAP and experience applying technical accounting in dynamic organizations.
- Experience managing external audit processes and external stakeholders.
- Strong working knowledge of accounting/ERP software and willingness to leverage technology/AI to improve processes; ERP migration experience is a plus.
- Attention to detail, high level of integrity, and strong communication skills.
- Property management accounting experience is a plus, but not required.
Total Comp range: $180,000 - $200,000 USD/year.
