Job Description
We're in search of a proactive and highly skilled Corporate Contract Paralegal to deliver comprehensive administrative support to our executives. In this dynamic role, your responsibilities will include:
- Demonstrate alignment with Next Health’s core values and mission in all aspects of work.
Conduct legal research using appropriate resources to support compliance initiatives.
Draft, manage, and maintain legal documents, including contracts, agreements, corporate filings, and entity records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
Coordinate contract execution by obtaining required approvals and signatures and ensuring timely distribution to relevant parties.
Maintain centralized databases of company and entity information, ensuring data integrity, accessibility, and regulatory compliance.
Liaise with outside counsel as needed, providing relevant information and facilitating effective communication.
Assist with entity formation and governance matters, including preparation and filing of required documentation and ongoing compliance maintenance.
File legal documents with governmental agencies and other entities in accordance with procedural requirements and deadlines.
Communicate with clients under attorney supervision to collect information, provide updates, and respond to inquiries.
Safeguard sensitive and confidential information and maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
Stay current on legal developments, procedures, and best practices through ongoing professional development.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support the legal function and broader business needs of Next Health.
What to Expect
In this role, you'll:
- Coordinate and oversee project activities, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to resolve roadblocks.
- Facilitate regular project meetings, providing updates and fostering collaboration among team members.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular reports to stakeholders, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommended actions.
-Ensure alignment of project objectives with organizational goals and priorities.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains within project management processes.
- Support the administration and renewal of corporate insurance policies, including general liability, workers’ compensation, professional liability, property, and other coverages as applicable.
- Prepare and update annual reports, state filings, and compliance documents to ensure all entities remain in good standing.
- Support the formation, registration, and dissolution of corporate entities, including filing state and federal documentation.
- Maintain corporate legal records.
- Support the administration and renewal of corporate insurance policies, including general liability, workers’ compensation, professional liability, property, and other coverages as applicable.
- Prepare and update annual reports, state filings, and compliance documents to ensure all entities remain in good standing.
- Manage and update legal documents, contracts, and corporate filings.
- Facilitate execution of agreements and maintain organized records.
- Assist with the creation and maintenance of corporate entities.
- Interface with outside counsel and provide necessary documentation.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion.

What You Will Bring
We're seeking candidates who possess:
- Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or related field required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working as a paralegal in a corporate or healthcare setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
- Paralegal certification preferred.
- Proficiency in legal research methods and software.
- Strong understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation standards.
- Proficiency in productivity tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Notion, G Suite, calendar management tools).
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive and confidential information.

Expected Compensation
The expected compensation for this position is $70,000 to 80,000 per year, plus benefits.
