Description

WHO WE ARE

Come join the company at the center of how the world adopts AI securely. Cyera’s mission is to give enterprises the confidence to embrace AI safely — deciding exactly what it can see and do as it reaches deeper into the business. We started by solving the hardest problem in data security: finding and securing data faster and more precisely than anyone thought possible. That foundation is now the essential AI trust infrastructure for the Fortune 1000. We’re hiring mission-driven talent to put those leaders at the center of our story.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We're looking for a content marketer who can operate across the full content spectrum. Written, audio, visual, social, thought leadership, product-level, campaign-level. You know how to match format to goal, and you're comfortable moving between a long-form editorial piece and a 15-second social clip in the same week.

This role owns the content lifecycle for our brand-level campaigns and efforts. That means originating content, repurposing what already exists, and making sure everything ladders up to a coherent brand story.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Content Creation

  • Write across formats: blog posts, thought leadership, scripts, social copy, email, product content, and campaign messaging
  • Develop and repurpose long-form content (recorded sessions, interviews, reports) into shorter, evergreen assets
  • Produce or direct production of audiograms, quote cards, short-form video cuts, and other social-ready formats
  • Support executive and spokesperson content, including ghostwriting and talking point development

Content Strategy and Planning

  • Build and maintain a content calendar tied to campaign goals, product moments, and brand priorities
  • Own content for customer marketing and testimonials
  • Drive content strategy and production for AI Security School
  • Shape and execute the content program for Cyera Research
  • Identify repurposing opportunities across the existing content library
  • Collaborate with demand gen, product marketing, and design to keep messaging consistent across channels
  • Recommend formats and distribution channels based on audience and objectives

Operations and Quality

  • Manage content from brief through final delivery without needing constant oversight
  • Maintain brand voice and quality standards across every format and channel
  • Track performance and use what you learn to inform what comes next
Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4+ years in content marketing, preferably in a B2B or corporate environment
  • Strong writing skills across formats, from long-form editorial to short-form social
  • Comfort working across channels: written, audio, video, social, email
  • Familiarity with content production tools (Descript, Canva, or similar)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines without dropping things
  • Judgment about what to create, what to repurpose, and what to leave alone

COMPENSATION INFORMATION:

Compensation Range: $120,000-$150,000.

The range represents total compensation, and may include incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable.

This compensation range represents Cyera’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of posting, and Cyera may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. The final salary for this position will be determined in Cyera’s sole discretion, consistent with applicable law, and based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the employee’s work experience, skills, and qualifications for the role, as well as the needs of Cyera’s business and other operational considerations.

Final compensation will vary based on seniority and relevance of experience, location, and position requirements.

This role may be eligible for potential merit increases based on factors such as individual or company performance, time in role, and other discretionary factors.

BENEFITS - Why Cyera?

  • Ability to work remotely, with office setup reimbursement
  • Competitive salary
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Paid holidays and sick time
  • Health, vision, and dental insurance
  • Life, short and long-term disability insurance

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
