Choice Hotels, one of the world’s largest lodging franchisors, has an exciting new opportunity as our Corporate Business Development Representative in Global Sales. Corporate Development team members are responsible for growing business through effective and ongoing prospecting for local and national opportunities. As a key member of our Global Sales team, you will grow an assigned territory and / or vertical segments, and play a key role is supporting successful ramps for new opening and conversion hotels.

Your Responsibilities

  • Identify and secure new accounts with national potential.

  • Work to uncover opportunities within the assigned regions/verticals.

  • Conduct in-depth market research to uncover new business opportunities for assigned new openings/conversions

  • Communicate potential leads, progress, and actionable next steps to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Lead and participate in sales missions that uncover potential in a specific area or vertical segment.

  • Take on varied assignments focused on generating new business opportunities and expanding existing accounts.

  • Evaluate identified leads and collaborate with relevant account owners or properties for potential development.

Your Experience, Skills & Competencies

  • BA/BS degree or 3+ years of relevant experience.   

  • B2B direct sales experience.

  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time. 

  • Go-Getter and Self-Starter

  • Strong internal and external communication abilities and interpersonal skills

Your Team

This is an individual contributor role that reports to the Director, Corporate Global Sales Development. You will have multiple peer teammates and collaborate with cross-functional departments regularly.

Your Work Location

As our Corporate Business Development Representative, you will be a remote-based associate, working from your home office. You will be required to connect virtually with Choice team members and leadership on video via Zoom, with possible periodic travel in-person to our beautiful, state-of-the-art worldwide offices in North Bethesda, MD, Scottsdale, AZ, or St. Louis Park, MN. Frequent nationwide travel will be required 50% of the time.

Salary Range

 
The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $78,240 annually plus commission via participation in Choice’s Global Sales Incentive Plan.
 
The pay range listed is for this position and is what Choice Hotels reasonably expects to pay. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the pay range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs.
