As a key member of the Gogo Finance organization, the Corporate Accountant is a high-energy, detail-oriented person with a passion for accounting and problem solving. The Corporate Accountant performs a variety of accounting activities to control the organization’s financial resources and ensures compliance with all relevant regulations, laws and reporting requirements. You will work closely with teams throughout the organization to identify and implement opportunities to increase efficiencies through automation and enhanced workflows while ensuring strong internal controls.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of accounting principles, exceptional organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

How will you make a difference?

  • Prepare, enter, and maintain detailed support for journal entries
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts to the general ledger, identify discrepancies and resolve timely
  • Partner with key departments within the organization to understand internal processes and ensure completeness and accuracy within the financial statements
  • Support month-end and year-end close process by meeting close deadlines and driving process improvements
  • Assist with internal and external audits

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 2-4 years of relevant Accounting experience

Required Skills, Talents, & Experience

  • Enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems experience, Microsoft Business Central is a plus
  • Comprehensive knowledge of US GAAP and familiarity with internal control
  • Detail oriented with exceptional organizational skills
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Excel

Preferred Skills, Talents, & Experience

  • Certified public accountant (CPA) preferred but not required
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team

Equal Pay Disclosure(s)

Base Pay:

56,000.00 - 70,000.00 USD Annual

Target Annual Short-Term Incentive:

Bonus Plan at 5% (% of Annualized Base Pay)
