We are looking for a Core Tech Engineer Intern to join us for our Obsidian University Internship Program. Come help us make our next world-class roleplaying game!
Work closely with our Core Tech and Game Teams to generate tools which help create our immense open worlds and breathe life into our games. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, outstanding problem-solving skills, and the ability to deliver on time.
ResponsibilitiesProgram, debug, and optimize game features and tools
Collaborate with developers on designs and implementations
Iterate on features and respond constructively to feedback
An avid gamer with a passion for making games
Enjoy collaborating with others in a team environment
Excellent communication skills
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
Working knowledge of C++, C#, and/or Python
Experience with Unreal Engine
Working knowledge of debugging issues in code
Examples of personal or school game projects
Passion for gaming and the games Obsidian makes

The estimated base pay range for this role is:
- $22.00 - 26.00 per hour
