ABOUT THE JOB

The Facilities and Core Operations organization at Anduril is seeking an analytical, strategic, and relationship-oriented Program Manager to oversee and optimize our team’s financial operations. The primary focus of this role is to ensure the organization stays on budget throughout the course of 2026 for all labor and non-labor spend. This position requires a unique blend of financial acumen, strategic thinking, and exceptional interpersonal skills to drive cost efficiencies while maintaining strong relationships across the company.


WHAT YOU’LL DO:
  1. Budget Management and Optimization:
    1. Ensure the organization stays on budget 
    2. Develop and implement processes to manage real-time spend and conduct retrospective reviews with stakeholders and finance
    3. Build and lead internal spend meetings to ensure division leads can effectively review and control expenditures
  2. Financial Modeling and Forecasting:
    1. Develop and maintain comprehensive, bottoms-up cost-driven financial forecast models
    2. Transform undefined and ambiguous activities into quantifiable, forecastable elements
    3. Create and manage multi-dimensional tracking systems for complex cost drivers
  3. Strategic Financial Planning and Reporting:
    1. Develop scaled spend contingency plans for various revenue scenarios
    2. Own the organization’s response to all planning-related processes (annual planning, LRP, etc.)
    3. Provide detailed, forward-looking reporting on spend progress vs. goals to Facilities & Core Operations leads
  4. Spend Optimization Projects
    1. Drive special spend projects to completion
    2. Proactively identify and propose new spend management ideas based on data analysis and team input
  5. Labor and Headcount Management
    1. Build headcount management forums 
    2. Partner with leadership on compensation management for the team
  6. Stakeholder Management and Collaboration
    1. Build and maintain strong relationships with Finance, purchasing, IT, Security, and other sister organizations
    2. Serve as a liaison between departments to streamline processes and reduce administrative overhead 
    3. Provide clear communication and reporting on financial matters to all relevant stakeholders
  7. Strategic Financial Partnership and Long-Term Efficiency Initiatives
    1. Own the organization’s efficiency reporting, financial and operational, to balance strategic spending versus cost savings
    2. Serve as a key partner to Finance, collaborating on process improvements 
    3. Lead regular, detailed reviews with key stakeholders to align financial projections with operational realities 
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience in financial management
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis
  • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial software such as Coupa, Oracle, NetSuite, and Lumos
  • Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience as a startup founder or in roles managing physical inventory/hardware
  • Track record of implementing cost-saving initiatives and process improvements
  • Low ego and service-oriented approach
  • Ability to simplify complex financial concepts for non-financial stakeholders
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a strong work ethic
  • Adaptable and comfortable working in ambiguous situations
  • Diplomatic and able to navigate complex organizational dynamics

US Salary Range
$70,000$105,000 USD

 

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
