How you'll LEAD:
We’re seeking a proactive and highly organized Coordinator to support our General Manager of North America. This person will be key in helping the GM stay focused, efficient, and informed. You’ll assist with administration, operations, project coordination, analysis, communication, and cross-team collaboration - keeping everything on track in a fast-paced music environment.
How you'll CREATE:
- Provide daily administrative and operational support to the General Manager.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, calls, and both internal and external communications.
- Prepare regular business reviews, reports, presentations, artist and label overviews, performance analyses, and documentation.
- Assist with project management to ensure deadlines and deliverables are met.
- Track key initiatives and follow up with stakeholders on action items.
- Help coordinate efforts between departments (A&R, Business Development, Marketing, Commercial, Operations, etc.).
- Conduct basic industry research and assist with data gathering and analysis.
- Act as a liaison between the GM and team members, partners, or clients.
- Be the face of Virgin Music Group North America by greeting visitors, assisting with office activities, and attending many shows!
- 1 year of experience in a coordinator, assistant, or operations role (music industry or creative field preferred)
- Impeccable email inbox management, organizational, and time-management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication
- High attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Familiarity with digital music platforms and industry trends
- Comfortable with productivity (Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, Slack, Monday.com, etc.)
- Passion for music and a team-player mentality
Bonus Points:
- Experience with creative tools (Photoshop, Capcut or Adobe Pro)
- Experience in music distribution, label services, or artist management
- Event or project coordination experience
- Understanding of DSP analytics or marketing tools
