The Production Finance Coordinator is our most junior show-facing Studio role.  It will be instrumental in supporting the Production Finance team in new and returning show set-up, system credential management, and other show-facing production finance needs.  

Responsibilities:

  • General show / Supplier set up.

  • Track and process various invoices and production funding requests.

  • Update Studio Paid Cost trackers.

  • Maintain accountant access across internal and external systems.

  • Maintain production accounting staff information in central database.

  • Coordinate proof of insurance for vendors.

  • Positive pay review for fraud protection.

  • Map custom COA's to Netflix COA (chart of accounts).

  • Track cost report submissions and follow up for overdue reports.

  • Add entries to Anticipated Receipts Tracker as needed.

  • Contribute ideas for developing systems & tools.

  • Schedule internal and external meetings as needed.

  • Update various Production Finance tools.

  • Additional responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of work experience.

  • Strong interest in building a career in production finance.

  • Experience in a freelance production or production accounting role or in a role with the Production or Production Finance team at a major Studio is preferred but not required.

  • Possess a high level of intellectual curiosity and be solutions-oriented.

  • Thrive in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

  • Self-motivated, disciplined, highly organized, and able to prioritize multiple tasks.

  • Exhibit the highest personal and professional standards of integrity and ethics.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills.

  • A degree from a four-year college is preferred.


Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of hourly pay; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in hourly pay versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The hourly range for this role is $30.00 - $55.29.

We also offer paid leave of absence programs. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off.
