How We LEAD:

Capitol Music Group is seeking a Content focused Creative to join the Capitol Creative team. The position reports directly to the SVP, Creative and will work directly with the Creative & Digital teams. 

We are looking for a multi-skilled creative that can concept, shoot, edit & deliver high level, engaging creative content across a wide roster of artists. They must be socially-driven, with a superior attention to detail & organizational skills. They must show a desire to travel, whilst meeting tight deadlines and juggling multiple critical requests in a high-pressure environment. A “can-do” attitude is essential. 

How You'll CREATE:

Creative, Commission & Produce:

  • Ideate, Shoot & Edit high-level engaging content.
    • Brief and manage external creatives (e.g. directors, videographers, editors).
    • Commission and oversee the production of a variety of content formats, short-form video, BTS, live sessions, interviews etc. 
    • Oversee production workflows, ensuring timelines, budgets & deliverables are met.
  • Shoot and edit mobile-native short-form content (TikTok, Reels, Shorts) optimized for speed and virality.
  • Ability to tap into wider creative worlds with Creative & Digital leads, to build out compelling story-telling through content.
  • Ideate, test, and execute short-form viral concepts aligned with artist voice and cultural trends.
  • Translate cultural moments, and trending formats into content that authentically represents the artist.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with artists & their management.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams (Creative, Marketing, Digital, A&R) to align content with campaign goals.
  • Ensure all content is artist-appropriate, culturally relevant, creatively excellent, and optimised for each platform.
  • Stay connected to the wider creative landscape, bringing in new talent, ideas, and formats.

Operational Tasks

  • Assist in gathering information for production agreements.
  • Ensure that content assets are organized and archived in the internal systems.
  • Pro-active approach to gathering production invoices from vendors (with support from the Creative Operations team)
  • Work with Finance & Creative Operations to ensure a smooth and timely processing of payments.

Bring Your VIBE:

  • Proven track record of creating viral short-form content across TikTok, Reels, and Shorts.
  • Hands-on editing ability in mobile apps (CapCut, TikTok editor, Splice) in addition to Adobe Suite.
  • Strong instincts for cultural timing, humor, and trends that spark conversation online.
  • Passion for music, pop culture, and visual storytelling.
  • Experience in content production, commissioning within music, media, or culture.
  • Experience managing creatives and multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Confidence in managing production budgets and timelines.
  • Deep knowledge of all social platforms and an understanding of how content performs across them.
  • A collaborative, team-first mindset with a solutions-driven approach.
  • Ability to creatively interpret briefs and oversee execution to a high standard.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Suite.
  • Awareness of lighting, framing, and composition in video and photography.
  • Willingness to travel and work evenings/weekends as needed for shoots.

Coordinator, Creative Content: $37,300-$66,770 Manager, Creative Content $68,640-$97,790
