The Legal Recruiting Coordinator will provide administrative support to the Legal Recruiting Team and Hiring Partner as requested to attract, recruit and hire highly qualified law students and experienced attorneys to meet the Firm’s needs.
What You Will Do:
Assist with planning and executing all aspects of the law school recruiting process, including summer program strategy, OCI/Resume Collection processes, callback interviews, hiring committee preparation and post-offer engagement.
Help coordinate Goodwin’s presence at law schools, including event logistics, materials preparation, communication with career services and student groups and tracking school-specific data.
Support LR Manager with the execution of the Summer Program for the Los Angeles and Santa Monica offices, including event logistics, communications, training coordination, evaluation tracking and work assignments.
Oversee interview coordination for all candidate types, including schedule creation, materials preparation, greeting and escorting candidates, organizing interview meals, collecting evaluations, and synthesizing interview feedback for review by the recruiting manager and hiring committees.
Draft, review, and distribute offer letters, rejection communications, and candidate follow-up messages.
Who You Are:
Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a law firm or law school career services setting.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; comfort working with databases and leveraging AI tools responsibly. LawCruit experience a plus.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities with flexibility and professionalism.
Outstanding oral and written communication skills; professional demeanor and ability to interact effectively with all levels of firm personnel and external contacts.
Discretion in handling confidential information.
Sound judgment and creative problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail, initiative, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Occasional travel.
