About the Role:

We’re looking for a Coordinator, Brand Marketing to support the execution of brand marketing and merchandising initiatives. This role is a key connector across teams, helping move projects from idea to launch by coordinating timelines, assets, partners, and deliverables with precision and momentum.  

Reporting to the Director, Brand Marketing, you’ll work cross-functionally with Creative, Digital, Finance, Accounting, Legal, and the broader IMAX Marketing organization. You will also interact with senior leaders and work closely with external partners and agencies. 

This role is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented IMAX super fan, who is excited to work across creative, operational, and cross-functional projects in a fast-paced, brand-driven environment. 

 

What You’ll Do:

Merchandising & E-Commerce 

  • Support day-to-day operations of the IMAX online store, partnering with external agencies on product buys, merch drops, inventory management, and ecomm site updates 

  • Partner with Finance to prepare monthly and licensing reports, track deal terms, and ensure royalties are processed accurately and on time 

  • Coordinate cross-functional readiness for new merch drops - including asset and copy briefing, distribution, and go-live - working closely with CRM, social and digital teams 

Brand Marketing 

  • Coordinate brand marketing projects and campaigns from ideation through rollout, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and stakeholders stay aligned; Proactively communicate project updates  

  • Coordinate asset requests, tracking deadlines and ensuring assets are delivered on brand and on schedule 

  • Assist with the development, maintenance and cross-functional distribution of brand materials, including brand guidelines and brand assets 

  • Collaborate with external and internal partners to support the launch of new IMAX Enhanced titles on-platform 

  • Create comprehensive campaign reports and research summaries, by collaborating across teams to source relevant information 

Operations & Administration 

  • Track marketing spend, manage monthly accruals, and process invoices 

  • Schedule meetings across teams and time zones, documenting and distributing next steps 

  • Support the Director, Brand Marketing with legal agreements by tracking notes, terms, and approvals 

  • Provide general coordination support for the Brand Marketing team, including ad hoc requests and communications 

What You’ll Need 

  • 1-3 years of experience in project coordination, campaign execution, or go-to-market support, ideally within consumer goods, retail, agency, or a fast-paced media or entertainment environment 

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple workstreams at once 

  • Proactive, resourceful, and adaptable, with the ability to navigate shifting priorities 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a habit of keeping stakeholders informed 

  • Working knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel 

  • Shopify experience is a strong plus 

  • A genuine passion for the IMAX brand, technology, and premium entertainment experiences - this role helps steward one of the world’s most iconic brands

Hiring Range :

$23.38 - $33.40 (per hour) Placement within this range depends on a candidate’s experience, skills, internal equity, and regional market factors. Eligible roles may also receive additional non-discretionary compensation such as shift premiums or overtime pay.
