Overview

Netflix is seeking a Coordinator to support our Talent Relations & Awards Series Team. The individual will be primarily responsible for assisting and helping to organize the Series Awards Team from Guild through Emmy season with day to day activities.

The Role

This candidate will play a key role in supporting the Netflix Awards Series Team focused on Scripted, Unscripted, Stand-Up, Variety and Sports series. Our ideal candidate will be self-motivated, exceptionally organized & detail-oriented, proactive, quick-thinking, flexible, able to pivot when necessary and can juggle a multitude of responsibilities with a strong emphasis on organization and precision. This is a demanding and fast moving position that requires someone who has a positive attitude, a love for series and is able to exercise good judgment, take initiative, demonstrate strong communication skills and attention to detail. This position requires someone who is a self-starter and can maintain a high-level of organization while meeting deadlines. 

Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day maintenance of award documents, grids, decks, leveraging one sheets and airtables 

  • Schedule and facilitate meetings, including securing conference rooms, putting together presentations and coordinating audiovisual needs 

  • Tracking and researching competitive awards titles, and maintaining an understanding of the awards landscape throughout the year

  • Staffing events including guild, FYC and premiere events

  • Supporting title leads on awards strategy and brainstorming/idea creation 

  • When applicable handle logistics such as booking travel, cars and updating itineraries

  • Drafting newsletters, recaps and other relevant communications

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of publicity-related professional experience in a studio, network, agency, brand, or similar organization

  • Passion about the evolving entertainment landscape with a strong working knowledge of the awards space for series

  • A clear and concise communication style and can effectively convey complex ideas written and verbally

  • Demonstrated operational capabilities, having previously tracked and interpreted data

  • Meticulous organizational skills, good judgment in the face of ambiguity, a superpower for multitasking and a keen attention to detail 

  • A proactive and positive approach, and will embody our company values every day

  • Demonstrated ability to accommodate a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends

Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $60,000 - $234,000.

Netflix provides comprehensive benefits including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits. We also offer paid leave of absence programs.  Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off.
