Description
DUTIES: Works on program execution of plant floor systems (PFS), supporting the Factory Zero Project. Performs multiple engineering tasks around multiple areas including Bodyshop, General Assembly and RESS. Assures new program implementation and execution including statement of requirement preparation, forecasting, controls and PFS design, equipment build and run-off and buyoff. Implements Throughput logic, supporting Andon Boards configuration and validation, verifying, and validating Global PM&C screens, supporting Operator Pacing configuration and validation, and supporting the Error Proofing Team in implementing changes. Performs System Acceptance Test and supporting production. Implement and validate the new Throughput Logic known as 9-bits in the entire RESS area. Validates the EPP Wire Diagrams (WDs) in every area in General Assembly and RESS. Shares lessons learned and training other engineers in RESS 9-Bits implementation with other engineers in different plant. Hybrid Work Policy - 3 days In-Office, 2 Days Remote - Must be able to report to local office.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field of study and Two (2) years of experience as a Controls System Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Controls Engineer, or related role. Two (2) years of experience with the following: Programming and troubleshooting for Allen-Bradley Programmable Logic Controller (PLC); configuring, downloading, troubleshooting, and validating HMIs for the system within TIA Portal; Configuring network switches, troubleshooting network from end device all the way to Zone Switch, and filling and validating network DCDL; Reading, understanding, marking, and updating Wire Diagrams for Tooling and EPP systems; using Eplan Program; Creating WDs from scratch and updated current Wiring Diagrams; and Using Diamond Grid and create and update DCDL for new or existing systems.
