Hadrian — Manufacturing the Future

Hadrian is building autonomous factories that help aerospace and defense companies manufacture rockets, satellites, jets, and ships up to 10x faster and 2x cheaper. By combining advanced software, robotics, and full-stack manufacturing, we’re reinventing how America produces its most critical parts.

We recently raised a $260M Series C to accelerate this mission. Our new 270,000 sq. ft. Mesa, AZ factory will create hundreds of new jobs and expand Hadrian’s ability to deliver at scale. Backed by Lux Capital, Founders Fund, and Andreessen Horowitz, we’re building a cornerstone of America’s industrial future.

The Role

Hadrian is seeking a Contract Specialist (Contracts Paralegal) to support our legal and business operations by managing the full lifecycle of vendor and customer contracts. You will work closely with our internal sales, procurement, and legal teams to ensure all agreements are accurately drafted, negotiated, and executed in line with company policies and compliance standards. This is a hands-on role critical to ensuring the smooth operation of Hadrian’s expanding commercial and supply chain activities.

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, such as NDAs, purchase orders, master service agreements, and sales contracts.

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders — including Sales, Finance, Operations, and Compliance — to ensure contracts meet business needs and adhere to legal and regulatory standards.

  • Track key contract terms, deliverables, renewals, and obligations using contract management systems to maintain transparency and accountability.

  • Maintain and continuously improve contract templates, clause libraries, and document repositories to support efficiency and consistency.

  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline contracting workflows and reduce turnaround times.

Cross-Functional Collaboration and Leadership

  • Partner closely with Legal, Compliance, and Sales Operations teams to ensure alignment of contracting activities with company objectives.

  • Provide strategic counsel and administrative oversight to improve contract operations and strengthen Hadrian’s legal infrastructure.

  • Represent the legal function in negotiations and internal discussions with key executives, engineers, vendors, and customers.

What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree required; paralegal certificate or equivalent legal training strongly preferred.

  • 3–6 years of experience in a contracts, legal operations, or paralegal role supporting vendor or sales agreements.

  • Familiarity with commercial contract principles, procurement processes, and sales operations.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.

  • Experience with contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems a plus.

  • U.S. citizenship required (ITAR).

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
