Galaxia Technologies Inc. is seeking a Senior Subject Matter Expert (Sr. SME) - Contract Management to lead and oversee large-scale, high-impact programs that drive mission-critical outcomes. As a Sr. SME, you will provide strategic leadership, establish contract management best practices, and mentor teams to ensure contracting actions are delivered on time. This role requires exceptional expertise in managing complex acquisition/contracting strategies, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven track record of success in government or defense-related environments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale, complex acquisition/contracting strategies to achieve organizational and mission objectives.
- Develop and implement contract management frameworks, methodologies, and tools to ensure effective oversight and control.
- Provide expert guidance on contract planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define contract objectives, requirements, and success criteria.
- Monitor contract performance and progress, addressing challenges and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Conduct risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
- Mentor and guide contract managers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, providing insights and recommendations on program strategies and resource allocation.
- Represent the organization in client meetings, industry forums, and government engagements to advocate for program success.
- Document and share contract management best practices, lessons learned, and success stories.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Program Management, or a related field and 20+ years of progressive experience in program management; or Master’s Degree and 18+ years of experience.
- 20+ years of progressive experience as a project/program/contract manager, architect and/or executive leading large scale/complex enterprise efforts
- Proven track record of understanding, structuring, and leading large-scale, complex acquisition/contracting initiatives.
- Extensive experience with government contracting, FAR/DFARS, and compliance frameworks.
- Advanced knowledge of program management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches.
- Deep expertise in program management methodologies, tools, and best practices (e.g., PMI, Agile, Lean).
- Strong understanding of budgeting, cost control, and resource allocation strategies.
- Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills with a focus on achieving mission-critical outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with leadership, stakeholders, development teams, and industry or academic communities.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance and willingness to take a CI polygraph.

Highly Desired Qualifications:

- Certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Program Management Professional (PgMP), or DAU Program Management Level III.
- Familiarity with risk management frameworks (RMF) and cybersecurity considerations in program delivery.
- Expertise in strategic planning, portfolio management, and large-scale resource allocation.
- Recognized thought leadership in contract management through publications, presentations, or professional contributions.
