We are looking for a Contracts Counsel who will focus on business transactions and commercial agreements. You will draft and negotiate a wide variety of complex technology and commercial contracts, including SaaS, licensing, and supply agreements. You will be expected to assist with legal strategies that support the company’s business objectives and minimize risk. We are looking for a talented professional with exceptional legal skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for excellence.
What you'll be doing:
- Assist with negotiations, drafting and reviewing business contracts, including but not limited to sales agreements and vendor contracts.
- Manage the entire contract lifecycle.
- Conduct, reviews, interpret, and analyze legal information and maintain a basic understanding of legal principles.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and legal colleagues to solve problems, build partnerships, and close deals efficiently.
What we're looking for:
- 8+ years of relevant legal experience.
- A JD degree and experience in commercial law, including contract negotiation and management, is highly recommended.
- Experience of a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work a plus.
- Extensive experience representing clients in the software and/or professional services related industries.
- Excellent negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills are required.
- Demonstrated ability to provide strategic legal advice, align legal strategies with business goals, and collaborate across departments to foster business growth.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.
