We’re Hiring: Contracts and Procurement Manager

We’re looking for a Contracts and Procurement Manager to lead the charge in managing EdVisorly’s contracting and procurement operations. This role will be part of our Revenue Operations team and is at the core of our operational excellence — ensuring that every agreement, vendor relationship, and compliance document reflects precision, integrity, and efficiency.

You’ll serve as the bridge between internal teams and external partners, coordinating contracts, supporting procurement processes, managing business registrations, and ensuring legal and regulatory compliance across the board.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment — someone who loves creating structure, streamlining processes, and enabling the business to move faster with confidence.

What You’ll Own

🔹 Contract Management & Coordination

  • Manage the end-to-end contract lifecycle — from drafting and redlines to execution and storage.

  • Ensure accuracy, version control, and compliance with company policies and state regulations.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to maintain alignment, reporting, and compliance across all contract and procurement operations.

🔹 Procurement & Vendor Management

  • Oversee procurement operations including vendor onboarding, POs, and documentation.

  • Manage collection of W-9s, insurance certificates, and payment details.

  • Partner with Finance to ensure vendor spend aligns with budget and approval workflows.

🔹 State & Business Registration Support

  • Track and manage state business registrations, annual renewals, and compliance documentation.

  • Maintain a proactive calendar of deadlines for all filings, licenses, and certifications.

  • Partner with Legal and leadership on state procurement requirements and renewals.

🔹 RFP & Proposal Coordination

  • Coordinate and prepare responses to RFPs, RFIs, and related documentation.

  • Ensure submissions meet all compliance, formatting, and deadline requirements.

  • Collaborate across teams to gather technical, pricing, and legal inputs.

  • Improve systems and processes by optimizing tools, automation, and SOPs for greater efficiency and consistency.

You Might Be a Fit If...

✅ You have 5-7 years of experience in contract administration or procurement in a higher education context.
✅ You’re experienced in reviewing and coordinating contract redlines and approvals.
✅ You understand procurement processes, vendor management, and state registration requirements.
✅ You’ve supported RFP response workflows and compliance documentation.
✅ You’re highly organized, adaptable, and excel at managing multiple priorities.
✅ You’re proficient in Google Workspace, CRM, and contract management tools like Hubspot or DocuSign.
✅ You’ve worked in higher education, SaaS, or public-sector environments (a plus!).

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
