In addition to our recent growth in Federal Civilian agencies, we are seeking to expand our capabilities in cloud development and footprint in national-security focused agencies within the Department of Defense and U.S. Intelligence Community.


Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Contracts Administrator with hands-on experience in federal government contracting to join our team in McLean, VA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the full life-cycle management of contracts and subcontracts, supporting the Contracts Director and leadership team in ensuring compliance, efficiency, and alignment with company objectives.

This role requires a strong understanding of FAR/DFARS, federal contracting vehicles, proposal development, subcontract management, and compensation mapping/pricing support. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment and can balance multiple priorities with precision and integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full life cycle of government contracts, from proposal through closeout.
  • Support the development, review, and submission of proposals in response to federal RFPs and RFQs.
  • Review and interpret federal solicitations, contracts, and modifications to ensure compliance with applicable regulations (FAR/DFARS).
  • Administer a variety of contract types, including CPFF, T&M, FFP, and IDIQ.
  • Oversee subcontract management activities, including the drafting, negotiation, and monitoring of subcontract agreements and flow-down provisions.
  • Maintain current knowledge of contracting vehicles (e.g., GSA Schedules, GWACs, IDIQs, BPAs, MATOCs).
  • Collaborate with program managers, finance, and business development to ensure consistent and compliant contract execution.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate contract files, correspondence, and reporting documentation.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for contract matters between the company, clients, and partners.
  • Provide advice and support to the Contracts Director and leadership on contractual risks and opportunities.
  • Support the corporate compensation program by ensuring consistency between contract requirements and internal compensation structures.
  • Perform compensation mapping to align labor categories and rates with federal contract requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to develop and maintain pricing models for proposal submissions and contract modifications.
  • Ensure all pricing and compensation strategies comply with applicable labor laws, Service Contract Act (SCA) provisions, and internal policies.
  • Contribute to internal reviews of pricing and rate development for competitiveness and compliance.
  • Maintenance of contract management systems/databases.
  • Oversee all federal compliance reporting requirements including SAM annual reporting, GSA quarterly/annual submissions, eSRS subcontracting reports, and other regulatory reporting (FFATA, EEO, VETS-4212) while maintaining a compliance calendar to ensure timely submissions.

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Contracts Management, or a related field.
  • 4–7 years of progressive experience in federal government contracting.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and other federal acquisition regulations.
  • Demonstrated experience with contracting vehicles (GSA, GWACs, BPAs, IDIQs, etc.).
  • Proven ability to negotiate, draft, and administer contracts and subcontracts.
  • Experience supporting proposal development and pricing efforts.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and contract management tools.

Preferred:

  • Experience in a government contractor environment.
  • NCMA certification (CFCM, CPCM, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Familiarity with DCAA compliance and audit processes.

Work Environment:

  • Hybrid position: 3 days onsite in McLean, VA; 2 days remote.
  • Collaborative and fast-paced team supporting federal and commercial contracts. Mentors project managers on contract-related items for compliance with federal regulations.
  • Reports to the Contracts Director, with regular interface across corporate functions.
  • Supports the Contracts Director in overall management and execution of corporate contracts.
