Role Summary

Renew Home is looking for a Senior Recruiter who can lead full-cycle hiring for technical roles, with the ability (and desire) to stretch into non-technical positions as needed. You'll partner closely with hiring managers to lead full cycle recruitment efforts across a range of key positions, while delivering exceptional candidate experiences. The role requires the ability to operate autonomously in a fast-paced environment, and to quickly attain a strong understanding of a complex space, while building alignment between the company's needs and ideal candidate profiles.

What You Will Do

  • Own full life cycle recruiting across a range of roles.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, ideal candidate profiles, and make adjustments as you learn how the talent marketplace aligns to our vision.
  • Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies for hard to fill roles, both technical and non-technical.
  • Manage scheduling, communications, and candidate updates throughout the interview lifecycle, including facilitating debriefs and decision-making conversations.
  • Provide timely feedback and guidance to candidates and hiring managers.
  • Ensure a positive and consistent candidate experience from first contact to close.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience as a full cycle recruiter, with a minimum of five of those years spent at a tech company.
  • Must be based in the US.
  • Proven ability to source, engage, and close top talent across engineering and product, as well as experience with non-technical hiring (or an ability and willingness to learn).
  • Experience partnering directly with hiring managers and leadership to drive hiring strategy and decision-making.
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing tools and platforms.
  • Deep understanding of technical roles, skill sets, and interview processes.
  • Track record of managing multiple open roles simultaneously while meeting hiring targets.
  • Ability to work autonomously, adapt quickly, and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Ability to work through ambiguity, excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.
Benefits

What You'll Get

  • This is a contract position with a three month duration. The hourly rate for this role is $75.

Not eligible for visa sponsorship.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
