Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Contract Senior Recruiter to support full-cycle recruitment efforts to attract top-tier talent across the life sciences industry. This role will be instrumental in developing and executing strategic talent acquisition initiatives to support the company’s growth in life sciences, pharmaceuticals, and healthcare innovation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the life sciences landscape and a proven ability to engage with highly specialized professionals.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage full life-cycle recruiting for roles across life sciences, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, and medical devices.

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to attract top scientific and technical talent, including passive candidates.

  • Actively source and recruit candidates from a variety of industry-specific platforms, and professional associations

  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and define candidate profiles.

  • Proactively research and investigate innovative sourcing strategies

  • Create, post, and monitor all job postings and recruiting advertisements

  • Screen, interview, and assess applicants for open positions

  • Maintain adherence to Surescripts policies and processes in relation to government guidelines around hiring practices; to include real-time maintenance of our applicant tracking system (Workday) to ensure data integrity

  • Extend offers of employment

Qualifications:

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Life Sciences, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 5+ years of full cycle recruiting experience, with at least 2 years focused on life sciences or healthcare industries.

  • Demonstrated success recruiting for scientific, clinical, or regulatory roles.

  • Strong understanding of life sciences terminology, job functions, and industry trends.

  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (e.g., Workday) and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Extensive knowledge of recruitment and selection techniques and requirements, OFCCP regulations, federal selection guidelines, and federal and state laws regarding employment practices

  • Strong working knowledge of the functions and capabilities of an applicant tracking system

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience as a data practitioner

  • Experience building or participating in social media campaigns as a sourcing tool

  • Experience both as a corporate recruiter and an agency recruiter

  • Experience with Workday

At Surescripts, base pay is one part of our Total Rewards Package (which may also include bonus, benefits etc.) and is determined within a range. The base pay range for this position is $0 - $0 per year. Your base pay may vary within or outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including (but not limited to) your qualifications, skills, experience, and location.
