About the role:As a Platform Engineer, you’ll be part of a client team building innovative products. We expect you to be curious, passionate, driven, and enthusiastic. You’ll be proficient at problem-solving, helping to deliver the core infrastructure, associated pipelines and related services in a pragmatic way that focuses on keeping the Platform team a core component of software delivery, from providing the platform for application developers to build on. You’ll be an effective communicator and a team player. You and your team will move in a fast-paced engineering environment, achieving outstanding results and delivering exciting projects.
Your Dev experience will include:Previous CI/CD experience;
Experienced in Java, Node.js, or Go — but any relevant development experience (e.g. Powershell or Bash) is a huge plus;
An advocate for TDD: writing infrastructure or code without tests should be unthinkable;
A solid understanding and passion for excellent software development practices
Significant production experience;
Strong background with container orchestration systems such as Kubernetes;
Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure;
Thorough understanding of infrastructure as code tools, including Terraform and Ansible (ARM Template, Bicep, or Pulumi are also welcome);
Proven experience building, shipping, and running using Docker;
Understanding how a Load Balancer works and having used Traefik, Nginx, HAProxy, or a Cloud-based Load Balancer;
Comfortable working in a Linux/RHEL/Ubuntu environment.
