Contract Analyst (AI Extraction & CLM Support), Legal Operations (Contract) 

Short-term / Temporary Assignment 

San Mateo, CA (Collab)/Remote (West Coast preferred) 


About the Role 

We are seeking a detail-oriented Contract Analyst to support the completion and validation of contract data within our Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system. This short-term role will focus on analyzing contracts processed through an AI extraction tool, verifying extracted data, and ensuring that all contract metadata is accurate and complete before upload into the CLM. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Review and analyze contracts processed by an AI extraction tool to validate data accuracy. 

  • Compare extracted metadata (e.g., party names, dates, terms, obligations, renewal clauses) against source documents. 

  • Correct and refine extracted data where necessary to ensure high-quality metadata output. 

  • Collaborate with the Legal Operations and CLM teams to ensure data is entered accurately into the CLM platform. 

  • Identify recurring extraction issues and provide feedback to improve AI tool performance. 

  • Maintain organized documentation of reviewed contracts and validation outcomes. 

  • Support the broader contract data migration and cleanup initiative. 

Qualifications & Skills 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, or related field (or equivalent experience). 

  • Experience with contract review, data validation, or metadata management preferred. 

  • Familiarity with CLM platforms and AI-powered data extraction tools a strong advantage. 

  • High attention to detail and strong analytical mindset. 

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills. 

  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 

Contract Details 

This is a short-term support role designed to help complete the migration and validation of contract data into our CLM system. Duration and scope may be adjusted based on project needs.

$55$82 USD
