What You’ll Do:
As a Continuous Improvement Specialist, you’ll work closely with our operations, engineering, and data teams to identify process inefficiencies, drive optimization initiatives, and implement AI-enhanced solutions. You’ll gain hands-on experience in how a high-growth logistics startup applies lean methodologies and data-driven improvements to scale efficiency and reduce costs in our network.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct process audits and analyses to pinpoint bottlenecks in internal processes.
- Lead or support improvement projects using tools like Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen to enhance performance metrics (e.g., cycle time, error rates, resource utilization)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and test AI-integrated process enhancements, including automation pilots and predictive analytics models
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), developing dashboards and recommendations for sustained operational excellence
- Facilitate training sessions and change management efforts to embed continuous improvement culture across the organization
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience or strong interest in continuous improvement, process optimization, or supply chain efficiency (certifications like Six Sigma Green Belt a plus)
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies
- Familiarity with tools like Excel/Google Sheets, Tableau, SQL, or process mapping software (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart)
- Self-starter who excels in problem-solving, project management, and thriving in fast-paced, innovative environments
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, operations management, business, or related field; 2+ years of relevant experience preferred
